About Our Business Waste Service

We offer two types of flexible business waste collection services:

General waste (non-recyclable) collection

We can collect and dispose of non-recyclable, compactable waste produced by your business. Most businesses combine a general waste bin with a recycling bin. This enables you to segregate waste, prevent cross-contamination and save money, while still meeting waste legislation and sending less waste to landfill.

Dry Mixed Recycling Collection

Recycling is one of the easiest actions that a business can undertake to reduce waste service costs and its impact on the environment.

We actively encourage all our business customers to recycle as much waste as possible. Items we collect include glass bottles and jars, plastic food pots, food and drink cartons, paper, cardboard, aluminium cans, and plastic bottles.

Segregating your waste and maximising the amount of waste recycled reduces your negative impact on the environment. It also reduces your overall costs due to the high landfill tax on general waste.

All waste has to be dry, compactable and recyclable.

Food Waste Collection

From the 31 March the legislation is changing, this means waste management for businesses will need to change too. 

Food waste from any businesses with 10 or more employees will have to be collected in a different bin, meaning many will be required to have three bins, general waste, recycling, and food waste. There is no minimum volume of food waste for collections and all premises producing food waste (including tea bags etc.) will need to arrange separate collections in accordance with the new requirements.

We can also offer 25 trade sacks - a simple, flexible and inexpensive way of removing your trade waste. This service is particularly useful if storage or access is an issue at your premises.
